Baptism:
Baptism of Infants – Infants are welcomed into the life of Christ and the Catholic Church through baptism. Parents of the infants are asked to call the Parish office (432-682-6303) to make an appointment with a priest. After the appointment, one baptism class is required. Classes are schedules usually on the second Sunday of the month, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Annex.
Baptisms are celebrated in groups usually on the Saturday after each monthly class. The celebration of sacrament can also be arranged by appointment with one of the priests.
Baptisms of Adults – Adults are baptized through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). These baptisms usually take place on the evening before Easter. Call Carol Ann Hunt at the Parish Office to inquire about the RCIA, 432-682-6303,

Anointing of the Sick:
The Anointing of the Sick is offered to any one in danger because of serious illness, to anyone preparing for surgery, or to anyone suffering from the effects of old age. Call the priests at 432-682-6303.

Funerals:
The death of a loved one is a poignant moment in the family and St. Ann’s offers many services during the time of bereavement. Call 432-682-6303.
The initial arrangements for a Wake Service (Rosary) and Funeral Mass are made in consultation with the Funeral Home. When the family of the deceased is making arrangements at the Funeral Home, the parish is called.
Parishioners will visit with the family to prepare for the liturgies, help them chose scripture readings and songs, and make other arrangements. The Marienfeld Lay Carmelites usually lead the Wake Service and Rosary and a Bereavement Choir leads the singing at the Mass.
St. Ann’s Parish offers a meal, served in the Annex, for family and friends. The meal ordinarily takes place after all the services (Mass and burial) have been completed.

Marriage:
St. Ann’s Parish welcomes couples who are planning their wedding. Please call the Parish Office at 432-682-6303 to set up an appointment with one of the priests. It is best to call at least six months before the wedding.
During the initial appointment, papers are filled out, marriage preparation courses are explained and the tentative arrangements are made for the date and time of the wedding.
After the marriage preparation course is completed, the date and time are confirmed and the liturgy is planned.
St. Ann’s Cana Committee (named after the town in which Jesus performed the miracle of changing water into wine at a wedding celebration) assists the couple in planning, leading the rehearsal and celebrating the wedding liturgy.
In case of any previous marriages of the prospective bride and groom, no plans should be made before consulting one of the priests. Any and every previous marriage must be studied and dealt with according to the laws of the Catholic Church, before plans can be made for getting married in the Church.

The Sacrament of Confirmation for adults is arranged by contacting Carol Ann Hunt at the Parish Office (432-682-6303) or in consultation with one of the priests during Marriage Preparation.

Ordination to Priesthood:
Several men from St. Ann’s have become priests and we encourage young men to go to the seminary if they discern that they might have a call to the priesthood. We would love to celebrate your ordination one day!
Call the Parish Office and talk to one of the priests, 432-682-6303, for more information.
